Lesson: Resurrection Day-Remembering and Celebrating! Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:20, 1 Peter 1:18-19, Luke 22:19-20, John 19:17-30 Lesson Goal: Today of all days, Remember and Celebrate!

Introduction: Throughout Scripture we are taught that it is a good thing to remember Who God Is and What God Has Done. From the memorial stones of the Jordan to the institution of the Lord’s Supper, we are told that we should remember what God has done.

For the child of God, the follower of Jesus Christ, to remember is to celebrate. Whether it was the deliverance from Egypt, the crossing of the Jordan, the Lord’s Supper or His coming again, we are told to remember. To the follower of Jesus Christ, remembering leads to celebration of what God Is and What God has done!
