Lesson 182-April 21, 2019

Lesson: “Nine Questions to Answer-This Changes Everything”
Scripture: Class Responsibility
Lesson Goal: To truly understand that because Jesus is alive, “This Changes Everything!” Introduction:

I’m finding myself at a loss for words And the funny thing is it’s okay The last thing I need is to be heard But to hear what You would say Word of God speak
Would you flow down like rain Washing my eyes to see
Your majesty
To be still and know
That You’re in this place Please let me stay and rest
In your holiness
Word of God speak.
I’m finding myself in the midst of You Beyond the music, beyond the noise All that I need is to be with You And in the quiet hear Your voice Word of God speak
Would you pour down like rain Washing my eyes to see
Your majesty
To be still and know
That You’re in this place Please let me stay and rest
In Your holiness
Word of God speak.

I believe that today calls for us to make this plea our prayer, “Word of God speak.” Today is the day we read, meditate, study, and reflect on the day called Easter-RESURRECTION DAY!

In history there are dates that simply need very little commentary. They literally speak for themselves by the voice of history, such as:

  •   September 11, 2001
  •   December 7, 1941
  •   November 22, 1963
  •   April 4, 1968
  •   April 14, 1865
  •   July 4, 1776

Each of these dates carry historical significance, as well as, personal importance.

But today we have the blessing and privilege to take a few moments to read and share about the day that truly changed everything!

In today’s lesson instead of our customary way of looking by verse at the Holy Scriptures, I want you to select and find passages of Scripture that tell the true story that Jesus is Alive and This Changes Everything! You will do this by answering nine questions and supporting each of your answers by Scripture.

Let’s begin today by looking at Jesus’ own family and how His resurrection changed everything! May I help by offering you a point of reference concerning His family. Please read John 7:1-5.
