Introduction: Some questions to think on: What does Thanksgiving mean to you? What does thanks giving
mean to you?

Perhaps the following words can help you as you offer an answer to the two preceding questions.

This life is a journey we walk by faith
And there will always be the mountains in our way
But right here in this moment, may our strength be renewed.
As we recall what God has done and how we’ve seen Him move.
If there’s anybody here who’s found Him faithful
Anybody here who knows He’s able,
Say Amen.
And if there’s anybody here who’s seen His power
Anybody here brought through the fire
Say Amen.
Anybody here found joy in the middle of sorrow
Just say Amen.
Sometimes through the darkness, it’s hard to see
So just be brave and follow where He leads
Cause greater is the one who’s in us then he who’s in the world
So child of God remember, the battle is the Lord’s.
And if there’s anybody here who’s found Him faithful
Anybody here who knows He’s able
Say Amen.
And if there’s anybody here who’s seen His power
Anybody here brought through the fire
Say Amen.
Oh anybody here found joy in the middle of sorrow
Peace in the storm, hope for tomorrow
And seem it time and time again
Just say Amen.
Even in the valley of the shadow
When you feel alone in the unknown
Just say Amen, just say Amen.
Oh even when the storms are raging
Stand and know you’re not forsaken
Just say Amen, just say Amen.

Question: What does it mean to you personally that God is faithful?
As you remember and think on His faithfulness, can you give Him thanks and praise?

Question: How has God been faithful to you? Please prayerfully explain.

Please read Hebrews 13:15. “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.”

The sacrifice of praise is the fruit of those lips that glorify, acknowledge, and give thanks to His name.
As we continue today’s study let us look at a few verses that speak of “praise”. After each verse please ex-plain how we live out each of these verses.

Psalm 7:17- “I will praise the Lord according to His righteousness, And will sing to the name of the Lord Most High.”

Psalm 9:1-2- “I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart. I will tell of all Your marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.”

Psalm 18:3- “I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.”

Psalm 28:7- “The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my soul I will praise Him.”

Psalm 34:1- “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”

Psalm 43:4- “Then I will go to the altar of God, To God my exceeding joy; And on the harp I will praise You, O God, my God.”

Psalm 52:9- “I will praise You forever, because You have done it; And in the presence of the saints I will wait on your name, for it is good.”

Psalm 57:9- “I will praise You, Oh Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations.”

Psalm 69:30- “I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.”

When the question is asked, who will praise the Lord, What is your answer?
