Welcome

Who We Are

MARS HILL BAPTIST CHURCH was established in 1928 with fourteen charter members and is associated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Lawrence County Baptist Association . Our first building was constructed in 1931 with lumber used from First Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg. Our latest construction was completed in October of 2010.

However, Mars Hill Baptist is much more than buildings; the people are the church. When you walk in the door, we hope you feel God’s love in every handshake and hug you receive. We strive to be a loving faith community that focuses on individuals and their needs.

If you live in the Lawrence County area and find yourself without a church home, we would welcome the opportunity to minister to you and your family. Wherever you find yourself in life – young or old, rich or poor, seeker or follower – you have a place at Mars Hill Baptist.
